The Hospitality Ministry at Hammond Street Congregational Church may work quietly behind the scenes, but its absence would surely be felt. This ministry dedicates time to creating a welcoming, warm, and friendly environment by providing refreshments and during fellowship hour after worship.

Fellowship hour, also known as coffee hour after worship, offers church members an opportunity to mingle with friends, connect with new people, and build meaningful relationships. These gatherings allow everyone enjoy each other’s company and strengthen the bonds within our church community.
Our hospitality volunteers prepare for fellowship hour before and during worship. Cheeses, crackers, fruits, vegetables, small sandwiches, cookies, cakes, and occasionally something extra special, as well as coffee, tea, and water are always available, thanks to this team.
These members help create a space for people to build meaningful relationships within their faith. They prepare food, set up, serve, clean up, and look out for guests who may not know anyone yet. Their participation helps keep our church community connected and ensures that fellowship hour remains a special time for everyone.
